Park Description
The Kittatinny Valley, also known as the Great Valley, is a relatively flat expanse situated between the Kittatinny Mountains to the west and the Highlands to the east. The land is generally well-suited for agricultural uses, and much of it remains as farmland today. However, portions of the valley are now protected as parkland and long sections of two abandoned railroads that pass through the valley have been converted to rail trails.
